A solid 4 m beam is a crew of three or four, often a hoist. This one is not.

That is the honest position. What can be checked: it does not feed termites, absorb water, rot or warp. How the finish looks after ten Bali years — unknown, until someone has been here ten years. We would rather say that now than after you have paid us.
If you cannot tell what it is from this distance — that is the point.
Wood wins on price at the low end. Ordinary bengkirai costs less per metre than we will. A site-built box beam costs less again — the cheapest way to get the look, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Wood wins on authenticity. Reclaimed ulin and teak carry real nail holes and patina. Ours is a moulded pattern that repeats down a long run if you look for it.
We win on weight — by a factor of ten to twenty. It matters when the ceiling was never built to carry 126 kg, when the roof is bamboo or light frame, when the lane will not take a truck, and when installation time is money.
We win on predictability and pests. A batch is a batch; reclaimed timber is whatever the yard received. Ulin resists termites — cheaper species do not, and most budgets do not stretch to ulin.

Installation is where the arithmetic turns. One man instead of a crew of four. No hoist, no scaffold tower. No structural check or strengthening. Ordinary tools. No anti-termite treatment, no site finishing, no acclimatisation — polyurethane does not absorb water, so it does not move afterwards. And less waste: a moulded batch has no splits or warp to over-order against.
Compare installed cost, not material cost — the number you actually pay. Your carpenter’s day rate decides it, so ask him. We are not going to claim we win it; we are asking you to run the comparison properly.
We are not the cheap option. We are the light, repeatable, termite-proof one.

You hold the actual product. Delivered goods are judged against that sample.
A third party checks the goods before loading. Payment is blocked if they fail — the one moment anyone has leverage.

Clearing a container costs the same at 500 metres or 5,000.

The middle two are timed to the moments the factory has to be paid. Money arrives before it leaves, at every step — no credit line, and your money never waits on us longer than the next step requires. The threshold is counted in metres and container volume, not people; progress will be shown here counting only deposits actually paid — unpaid reservations listed separately, in grey.
Funds sit with a licensed provider and release against evidence — a signed contract, an inspection report, a bill of lading. Not on our say-so.
Missing the volume by the stated date cancels the order and returns every reservation in full, to the account it came from. This rule lives next to the button, not in the terms.
The 45% moves only after independent inspection against the sealed sample — in China, before the container is loaded.
Our fee is 10–20% of the order value, invoiced separately — its own line, not hidden in the price per metre. Everything else is passed through and itemised.

We are building a list of projects that want this material. When enough metres are on it, we place one order — and everyone on the list gets factory pricing with the process above.
One runs a construction team here and buys building materials every week. The other handles sourcing, specification and the import process.
Researched the material, identified and vetted factories in China, written the specification we would order against, and calculated what it costs to land it on Bali — duties and transport included.
Imported it. There is no stock, no warehouse and no completed project. Every image on this site is labelled with what it is and whose it is. If not enough projects want this, we will say so.
